Cairo 20th February, 2018: The Saudi German Hospital Cairo received the prestigious Joint Commissions International (JCI) accreditation which is considered the gold standard in health care worldwide.
The accreditation motivates health-care institutions to be among the best in the world which in turn proves beneficial for the patients, while international accreditations are now being very important in the health-care sector in Egypt.
During the review, a team of JCI expert surveyors evaluated the patient satisfaction in addition to performance improvement and efficiency of the hospital. The Saudi German Hospital received its first accreditation by JCI after only 2 years of the operating date of the hospital in Egypt, which is considered a strong start in providing a unique and pioneering model in the field of health care by meeting international health care standards.
The accreditation criteria are mainly focusing on inputs, management and operations that ensure the highest standards of quality and safety for patients, and ensure continuous development.
