Accreditations
SGH believes in patient-centered, high quality Healthcare, it operates according to standardized international parameters. In January 2018, after only 2 years of operation, Saudi German Hospital-Cairo received its first prestigious Joint Commissions International (JCI) accreditation; JCI is a non-profit international organization headquartered in the United States of America and considered the gold standard in health care worldwide.
In August 2018, and because SGH-Cairo aims to offer the highest quality of care to its patients worldwide, respecting their diverse cultures and different expectations, SGH-Cairo is the first hospital in Africa to receive TEMOS International Healthcare Accreditation (A German-based accreditation), which mainly focuses on the quality of care and the level of performance delivered to International patients, medical travelers as well as domestic patients, and on the continuum of patients’ care.
By the end of 2018, SGH-Cairo is the first hospital in Africa to receive the Canadian Accreditation. Accreditation Canada works with providers, policy makers and the public to improve the quality and safety of health and social services.
JCI Accreditation
An independent, not-for-profit organization, Joint Commission International (JCI) accredits and certifies health care organizations and programs across the globe. Joint Commission International accreditation and certification is recognized as a global leader for health care quality of care and patient safety.
The JCI accreditation is considered as the golden standard among all the health-care accreditation programs available

TEMOS Medical Accreditation
Temos International Healthcare Accreditation helps hospitals, clinics and medical travel coordinators to find their highest levels of performance to deliver top quality to domestic patients, patients with different cultural backgrounds, international patients as well as medical travelers they serve and to continuously take care of their quality.
By working collaboratively, Temos International encourages innovation and avoids the “one size fits all” approach to accreditation which does not work across cultures for providers or patients. With its deep understanding of universal standards of quality and cultural differences in expectations around the patient experience, Temos International Healthcare Accreditation raises clinical standards, improve clinical and non-clinical outcomes as well as patient safety, and reduces costs for an overall client satisfaction.

Swiss Accreditations
Food safety management systems
SO 22000:2005 specifies requirements for a food safety management system where an organization in the food chain needs to demonstrate its ability to control food safety hazards in order to ensure that food is safe at the time of human consumption.
It is applicable to all organizations, regardless of size, which are involved in any aspect of the food chain and want to implement systems that consistently provide safe products. The means of meeting any requirements of ISO 22000:2005 can be accomplished through the use of internal and/or external resources.

- CEO Middle East Awards announced Eng. Sobhi Batterjee Chairman – Middle East Healthcare Company – Saudi German Hospitals, as Healthcare CEO of the year 2016 for the outstanding Contribution of an Individual to the Middle East Healthcare Industry.
- Saudi German Hospitals Group has been selected and honored as a Global Growth Company 2014 by the World Economic Forum in a Special Meeting on Unlocking Resources for Regional Development in Istanbul in September 2014.
